debts excluded from bankrupsy?

Xulu asked:

how does the court decides whats included or excluded in the bakrupsy filing in Colorado?
Are the debtors notified? if so how?, does the court need to receive a response from the debtors?

  1. I’m not sure exactly in Colorado. But in general taxes of any kind are not excluded. State, Federal Taxes, House taxes.
The debtors are notified if you put them on the list that you turn in, if not then you did not file bankruptcy against that company. Your lawyer will send them a letter, some debtors don’t respond and some of them may show up at your hearing if you owe them a large amount or they need to repose something.
